the glossary feature may not work on some mobile devices
nothing is perfect and the hover gesture implies a mouse and not necessarily a touch interface. some mobile devices implement various other features when you tap, long press or touch these terms. mine actually pulled up the definition of the term which is what we wanted in the first place.
embedded annotations
annotations are little markers that can be added almost anywhere on a page and expand a custom tooltip detailing more information just like this one (hover & click on the plus icons to the right) (1) or this one (2)
